About this cartoon: Donald Trump is an epic liar. During the 2016 election campaign, the impartial PolitiFacts organization rated every major-party candidate on truthfulness, and Trump came in dead last by a wide margin (his opponent, Hillary Clinton, whom Trump constantly painted as "lying," came in first as most truthful). Trump lies as easily as he breathes, making a depiction of that as his native habitat an easy one. This cartoon took second place in the 2017 Homer Davenport Cartooning Competition.
